A brief history

The site is currently being used as a retail gasoline service station with an automotive repair shop known as H&B Automotive Service Inc. Soil contamination was first observed on site in 2000 during a UST removal. Groundwater contamination was later detected in 2005. 

 

Proposed Remediation Plan

The proposed remediation plan for this site includes Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA). The groundwater is currently being sampled on a quarterly basis by Synergy to monitor the degradation rate of the compounds and the extent of the contamination.
