Site Details
A brief history
The site is currently being used as a retail gas station with an automotive repair shop. Groundwater impact was first observed in 1987 during underground storage tank (UST) replacement activities. Soil impact was initially detected in 1992 during the replacement of UST product lines and the removal of a former waste oil UST. Soil impact has been remediated, but impacts in groundwater remain onsite.
Proposed Remediation Plan
The current remediation plan for this site is Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) of the groundwater. Synergy is currently working to delineate the extent of the contamination with the installation of additional monitoring wells. Groundwater is anticipated to be delineated by the end of 2026.
